Dr. Isles grew up on a farm and as a child loved to care for the sick and injured animals. When it came time to pick a career it was only natural for her to become a Veterinarian. After graduating from University of California, Davis school of Veterinary Medicine she spent 4 years practicing at the UC Davis Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital then went back to school to get her Avian Specialty. Dr. Isles is ABVP (American Board of Veterinary Practitioners) Avian board-certified Diplomate.

When not working at the animal hospital, Dr. Isles is travelling to treat birds in Zoos around the world.
